Sally Flegg Photography

Sally Flegg required a bold and yet basic site that would exhibit her photography in the best possible light whilst also allowing users to navigate easily between different photographic galleries; portrait photography; headshots photography; music & editorial photography; film & theatre photography.

The dark colour scheme was chosen as a suitable backdrop for the site allowing the photographs to speak for themselves and be the main focus of attention whilst an injection of red added strength to the brand preventing it from being perceived as bland, not just on the website, but across other media such as print and advertising.

Animated galleries transition automatically between photographs, but for those users who wish to browse at their own leisure controls are provided for scrolling through the images.

An index of thumbnails is also generated from each of the galleries so that visitors can see ‘at a glance’ the latest work and easily navigate through a large amount of content.

The site is managed in it’s entirety by a content management system so that the photographer can upload and update the website after each new shoot.
